In Mukundpur area of Bhalswa Dairy, a neighbor who had gone to intervene in a dispute between husband and wife was murdered. The deceased has been identified as Ran Singh. Accused Dhirendra Kumar, who was quarreling with his wife, attacked her on the head with a rod and pushed her down from the terrace. The family took the injured man to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The police registered a case of murder. After investigation, the police have arrested the accused. Police have recovered the rod used in the crime from the possession of the accused.
Ran Singh lived with his family in Street No. 8, Mukundpur area. The police officer said that on November 13, the police received information that during a fight in Mukundpur area, a person was hit with a rod on his head and pushed from the roof. As soon as the information was received, the police reached street number eight of Mukundpur B Block. There was blood scattered at the spot. Investigation revealed that the injured Ran Singh was taken by his family to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. On reaching there, the police came to know that the doctors had declared Ran Singh dead. The police started investigating the case by sending the body for post-mortem.
Upon enquiry, it was found that Dheeraj was beating his wife and abusing the neighbours. Neighbor Ran Singh protested against the abuse and went to the accused’s house, where the accused attacked him on the head with an iron rod. After this the accused pushed her from the first floor. Ran Singh fell down from the first floor and became unconscious. The family immediately took him to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital, where he was declared dead. The police registered a case of murder. After investigation, the police arrested the accused Dheeraj. The police is investigating the case
